Even though I haven’t updated my workout page in a few days, I have been keeping at it! Today was another two-a-day for me. I started the day off with a delicious breakfast and headed for the gym. I did legs in the morning and back in the afternoon. Here’s how it went!
Morning:
Warm up:
1 Mile Jog
Super #1:
Goblet squats (3x8) 40lbs
Split legged lunges (3x8each) 40lbs.
Super #2:
Dead lifts (3x8) 50 lbs
Leg curls (3x8) 50lbs
Super #3:
Step Ups (3x8each) 35lbs
Walking Lunges (3x8each) 40lbs.
Afternoon
Warm Up:
Stretching for 10 minutes
Super #1:
Jump Pull Ups (3x12)
Ab Roller (continuous until other person was done with pull ups)
—> This set kicked my ass for sure. My heart was going a hundred miles a minute and my lats were on fire. It was awesome.
Super #2:
Lat Pull Overs (3x8) 35lbs
Shrugs (3x12) 100lbs —>forearms were burning!
Abs/Lats:
Hanging leg lifts till failure. On pull up bars. No slings for the elbows….gives your forearms and lats hell!
Hanging Roll overs (grip on pull up handles, roll hips and legs back until your ankles touch your hands. Picture something like the olympic rings. Really hard….getting better but don’t quite have it yet.
Hanging Push Down Obliques….till failure. You need a partner to push down your knees, but it’s still tough on your own.
